In this research you can find the comprehensive analysis of Armenia’s bilateral relations with regional countries and non-regional powers, since 1991. Basing on the practice of mentioned affairs several new visions were offered on Armenia’s foreign politics:

1. Public diplomacy;
2. “Trust resource”;
3. South Caucasus Stability Initiative.

As it is mentioned in the report: “This research is designed to find and highlight applicable mechanisms of regional integration and cooperation for Armenia. This report is designed to serve as a useful add-on to Republic of Armenia’s President’s executive order on National Security Strategy (19.02.2007) and the Military Doctrine (25.12.2007), from two other important aspects:

  1. Economic, non-military mechanisms Armenia's inclusion into regional integration and cooperation processes in South Caucasus and even broader – in the Wider Black Sea region: research of the possibilities and objective problems;
  2. The same goal from the point of international law: the enforcement of international law regulations for finding solutions to foreign policy and national challenges.”

The report is designed to find cooperation mechanisms between all interested parties in South Caucasus (US, Russia, EU, Turkey, Iran) and Armenia by highlighing the possibilities of Armenian national interests realization and mutual tasks and aspirations. The report’s actuality is tightly connected with growing integration of South Caucasus into international processes.
